Nick Cannon says he’s been diagnosed with a lupus-like autoimmune disease that contributed to his recent health scares.

The 31-year-old “America’s Got Talent” host tells People.com that the condition came to light after his hospitalization in January for kidney failure, as well as his treatment last month for two blood clots discovered in his lungs.

“The blood clot thing was probably the scariest because … I’ve known people who have passed away from that,” he told the magazine at a DJ gig Wednesday night in New York. “I thought I was getting better,” Cannon added, “and then that happened, so that kind of came out of nowhere.”

Cannon said that as far as he knows, no one else in his family suffers from the condition. “They kind of say [my] autoimmune [disease] is – like a lupus type of thing, but no one else in my family has it.”

For now, the husband of Mariah Carey and father of twins says he’s trying to take care of himself, put his health first and focus on recovery. “I feel blessed to be alive. If it wasn’t discovered, I don’t know [what would have happened].”

“He was all over Selena the whole time, walking her around by the hand. He kept kissing her,” a source close to the pop star tells Us of his birthday PDA with Gomez, 19. “It’s clear she was the best part of the night for him. He is still so in love with her.”

In addition to his friends-and-family bash, Bieber also scored a one-of-a-kind Fisker Karma eco-friendly sportscar as a gift from Braun, with a reported pricetag of $102,000.

Celebs are speaking out following the comments by former “Growing Pains” heartthrob Kirk Cameron about homosexuality and gay marriage.

Cameron, who is an active advocate for conservative Christian values, said Friday on CNN’s “Piers Morgan Tonight” that his beliefs don’t allow him to support gay marriage. “Marriage is almost as old as dirt, and it was defined in the garden between Adam and Eve. So color us skeptical of a London Daily Mail report that
claims the Big M, 53, is mulling over a proposal from her 24-year-old squeeze, French dancer Brahim Zaibat, who supposedly popped the question three weeks ago at the New York Kabbalah Centre.

“Madonna hasn’t given him an answer yet. She doesn’t want to rush into anything,” says a source. “She is very happy with Brahim, although her friends are not sure she is ready for marriage again.”

Actually, these were Madonna’s exact words following her 2008 split from Guy Ritchie, who reportedly walked away with an estimated $80 million-plus: “I think I’d rather get run over by a train [than marry again],” she told David Letterman.

Plus, her newly released track “I Don’t Give a …” appears to dis her fizzled union to her filmmaker ex, with pointed lyrics such as, “I tried to be a good girl/I tried to be your wife/Diminished myself/And I swallowed my light/I tried to become all/That you expect of me/And if it was a failure/I don’t give a [bleep].”

Still, “Madonna has a real fear of being on her own,” continues the Mail’s insider. “It’s a major issue for her, and she loves having a man in her life who is young and makes her feel young.”

The pop icon, whose first marriage, to Sean Penn, spectacularly flamed out in 1987, began dating Zaibat in September 2010 following her split from 22-year-old Brazilian model Jesus Luz.

Her rep did not respond to our request for comment on the rumored proposal.

Popping the question on a hill near the Matterhorn Nov. 16, Flajnik found that his feelings toward Robertson changed once he saw his fiancee’s abhorrent behavior played out on national TV. And then he turned his attention to other women.

On February 17, Flajnik — out with a group of four ladies — was feeling especially frisky, chatting with several women who came up to him at local haunts Monaghan’s and the Lion’s Pub. When two of them set their sights on Flajnik, he pounced. “Ben seemed pretty toasted, and this woman in red pants came up to him,” says a witness. “It looked like an altercation at first, then he kissed her on the mouth and hugged her.”

When that woman split off from the group, Flajnik and his friends continued on to a local donut shop with the remaining women — one of whom had been texting with Flajnik since they met on Valentine’s Day, according to a source. After picking up a dozen pastries, Flajnik and the group walked the few blocks back to his apartment.

“Ben and this girl looked like they were drunk and having a good time,” says a witness of Flajnik and his gal, who spent the night at his place and surfaced the next morning wearing the same clothes as the night before. “They were doing weird dance moves, laughing and joking.”

Shockingly, less than 24 hours later, Flajnik was spotted out with yet another woman. While taking his dog, Scotch, for a walk late in the evening, Flajnik and the woman stopped by a waterfront park near the Golden Gate Bridge — and made out for nearly two minutes!

Whitney Houston made sure her one true love would be taken care of before her untimely Feb. 11 passing.

The singer, 48, amended her will on April 14, 2000, leaving daughter Bobbi Kristina, now 19, everything in her possession. Bobbi Kristina will inherit her mother’s money, furniture, clothing, personal effects, jewelry and cars, according to a 19-page court document obtained by “Inside Edition.”

The money will be placed in a trust until Bobbi Kristina turns 21 in 2014. She will receive additional money when she turns 25, and will be given access to the rest of Houston’s fortune when she turns 30.

Houston’s mother, Cissy, 78, is the executor of the will; her brother Michael and sister-in-law Donna are the trustees. The “I Look to You” singer’s ex-husband, Bobby Brown, is mentioned in the will but receives nothing.

Houston first drafted a will on Feb. 3, 1993, exactly one month before she gave birth to Bobbi Kristina.

Bobbi Kristina will open up for the first time about her mother’s death on an episode of “Oprah’s Next Chapter,” airing on OWN on March 9 at 9 p.m. EST.

“[Bobbi Kristina] idolized Whitney,” a source previously told Us Weekly. “She was always by her side in everything she did.”

Jennifer Aniston recently gushed that her happiness level is at “10-plus,” a fact that apparently isn’t sitting well with one tabloid. Grazia magazine (via the London Daily Mail) seems to be doing its darndest to turn the actress’ smile upside-down by claiming she’s on the outs (yet again) with longtime BFF and former “Friends” co-star Courteney Cox.

The blame for the alleged downgrade in their bosom-buddy status is placed squarely on Aniston’s insta-serious relationship with Justin Theroux.

The evidence, such as it is, includes Courteney’s absence at Jen’s recent Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony. Oh, and Aniston, who is godmother to Cox’s 7-year-old daughter, Coco, supposedly bailed out of a planned girls night last month in order to cuddle up with live-in honey Theroux.

All this, contends the mag, has left the “Cougar Town” star upset, apparently because she was there for Aniston after her breakup with Brad Pitt and feels she deserves the same kind of support now that she’s the single one, having split from David Arquette in October 2010 after 11 years of marriage.

But before you shed a tear at the thought of Monica and Rachel no longer exchanging girl talk at Central Perk, keep a couple things in mind: Courteney dismissed the fractured friendship rumors to Howard Stern last month (“We’re very close. I’m having dinner with her tonight,” she said), and she quietly attended the Los Angeles premiere of Jen and Justin’s flick “Wanderlust” on Feb. 16.

Bizarre Sean Taylor cause of death

sean taylor cause of death_The burglary that led to the shooting death of Washington Redskins star Sean Taylor almost didn’t happen when one suspect heard a noise and wanted to flee, an attorney close to the case said Friday.

But the lawyer, Richard Sharpstein, said the alleged triggerman told police he was the cause of the noise and talked the others into continuing, leading to a confrontation early Nov. 26 that ended with a machete-wielding Taylor fatally shot.
“It was a botched burglary all along. It’s senseless, mindless and tragic,” said Sharpstein, who has acted as a Taylor family spokesman and once represented Taylor in an unrelated case.
Sharpstein, a veteran Miami defense attorney, said his information came from unreleased statements to police given by the four suspects in the case. They are being held without bail and face arraignment on murder and other charges Dec. 21.

Those statements, Sharpstein said, indicate 19-year-old Jason Mitchell and 17-year-old Eric Rivera Jr. went to the house while the other two — Venjah K. Hunte, 20, and Charles Wardlow, 18 — stayed outside, where there was a getaway car. The four are all from the Fort Myers area on the state’s southwest coast, more than 100 miles from Miami.
At some point, Mitchell got spooked by noises and ran out of Taylor’s house but was persuaded to return by Rivera, who said it was he who had caused the noise. Mitchell and Rivera apparently had been involved in an earlier burglary at Taylor’s home, Sharpstein said.
Eight days before the shooting, someone pried open a front window at Taylor’s home, rifled through drawers and left a kitchen knife on a bed.
The Washington Post first reported the burglary was nearly called off.
Mitchell attorney Landon Miller said he was aware of Sharpstein’s comments but added: “I’ve never heard that from the prosecutor or from law enforcement.” Miller said he could not confirm the account.
Hunte’s attorney, Michael F. Hornung, said authorities apparently are investigating the possible theft of money and memorabilia from that earlier Taylor break-in. But he said Hunte had no involvement in that crime and did not enter Taylor’s home the night of the shooting.
“He was outside the home, he was never in the home, nor was he waiting in the car for the other individuals,” Hornung said. “My client was not within the distance — the range — to hear anything, nor did he communicate with the co-defendants.”
Rivera attorney Sawyer Smith declined comment. Wardlow’s attorney, David A. Brener, said his understanding from police was that his client tried to convince the group to leave when the noise was heard.
“I will confirm that the allegation is that Mr. Wardlow attempted to persuade the others to leave the premises, and he in fact did leave the premises,” Brener said, adding that Wardlow was not inside the house when the shooting occurred and did not know anyone had a gun.
Rivera attorney Sawyer Smith declined comment. The attorney for Wardlow did not immediately return a telephone call seeking comment.
Investigators have said the suspects did not expect Taylor to be at home the night of the burglary, but he was not with the Redskins because he had suffered a knee injury and was allowed to return to Miami. Taylor’s girlfriend, Jackie Garcia, and their 18-month-old daughter were also at home that night but were not injured.

Amanda Holden, Victoria Beckham, Katie Price and Holly Willoughby are among those still in the running. They are joined by MP Louise Mensch, Kym Marsh and Nicola McLean.

The top 10 is rounded off by The Only Way Is Essex star Chloe Sims, Danielle Lloyd and Prime Minister David Cameron’s wife Samantha.

A competition insider told Digital Spy: “With a week to go, the voting is changing on a daily, sometimes hourly, basis.

“Some of the mums you would expect are right up there, like Amanda Holden, Holly Willoughby and Katie Price, but Chloe Sims’s support on Twitter from people like Joey Essex has also given her a real chance too. At the moment it’s too close to call.”

Earlier this week, last year’s winner Stacey Solomon was axed from the competition, after photographs of the pregnant singer were published in a Sunday newspaper.
